Who is The Boogie Man?....Wayne Stone, otherwise known as "The Boogie Man" has been interested in the music business since 1960. Currently on the air with WXRL Radio 1300, he has also worked at WBTA/WBTF Radio from 1980-1996, as Chief Engineer/Program Director. He has met and talked to most of the biggest names in Country Music including Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson, Randy Travis, Willie Nelson, Tanya Tucker, and Vince Gill. Wayne is very knowledgeable about music and has been a collector since 1968. The same year, at the tender age of 11, Wayne built a radio studio in his house and a small transmitter which allowed him to broadcast about 1/4 of a mile away on the radio. Wayne is very proud of what he has achieved in his 45 years and would be very happy to talk to you about it.
